The empowerment program would be implemented in one cluster appointed by BUB. ‘BUB’, together with YCAB Foundation, aimed to raise Rp 4 billion that would serve as a social perpetual investment through an economic empowerment program for underprivileged mothers. So, the appointed foundations by each ‘BUB’ donor would get Rp 80 million per km. In November 2011, Sandi would invite organizations and individuals to donate Rp 40 million for each kilometer he ran, and he would double the donation through a matching funds scheme. Having previously participated in the Gold Coast Airport Marathon in July 2011, for the fourth time the young entrepreneur – affectionately nicknamed as Sandi − would raise funds to be donated to several charity organizations, including YCAB Foundation through his initiative ‘Berlari untuk Berbagi’.
